Macro Algae Harvesting Program Services
The Macro-algae Harvesting Program developed as a result of multi-agencies’ response to concerns about the effects of macro-algae on the health of Delaware's inland bays and waterways. With the assistance of these other agencies, we will conduct reconnaissance and surveillance to locate potential or known problem areas for harvesting. With as many residents and non-residents who utilize our Inland Bay waterways each year our program is an invaluable asset to maintaining the balance between development and protection of the environment.
