Seaford Power Plant

The Seaford Power Plant (SPP) is located on the banks of the Nanticoke River. It desired to expand its operations to incorporate a new computer facility and substation onto an adjoining vacant lot. The targeted property, however, contained contaminants that needed to be remediated. Working with DNREC, SPP was able to accomplish its goals while cleaning up the problems at the site. The City of Seaford invested $2,300,000 dollars into the new facility and improved its efficiency and capacity.
