Baseline Schedule for a Standard Brownfields Project

The schedule shown is provided as a baseline for a standard Brownfields project. This schedule sets a baseline of ten (10) months from the Scoping Meeting to the approval of the Brownfields Remedial Action Plan. The Department is committed to meeting this schedule for a majority of Brownfields development projects. However, each Brownfields site is unique and the schedule for a specific site can be different, either shorter or longer, from that shown. Actual project schedules are impacted by a number of factors including: weather, the type of development proposed, the extent of site investigation necessary, previous site history, the amount of data available from previous investigations, and community issues.

All the tasks listed in the schedule are required, but the times to complete each task are negotiable. We suggest that the applicant bring their desired schedule to the Scoping Meeting for the purpose of negotiating a site-specific schedule if variations to this baseline are desired.
