Look for Native Vines at White Clay Creek State Park

Take advantage of the autumn weather by exploring White Clay Creek State Park’s trails. Join the park naturalist in a search for creeping native vines and climbing foliage such as trumpet vine, grape, Virginia creeper, bittersweet, honeysuckle, greenbrier and poison ivy. Learn about the folk and native uses of these wild strangling plants.

Meet at the park nature center at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.
