August 10, 2000 Army Corps of Engineers to Hold Regional Listening SessionThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division, is hosting a regional workshop on future water resources issues Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in New Brunswick, N.J. The regional listening session is one of a series of 14 regional sessions
conducted during June through September this year. According to a letter
to northeastern stakeholders, Results from the public listening
sessions will be compiled into a report assessing the current state
of water resources in the United States and the gap that must be closed
to meet future needs. The report will be provided to decision-makers
and the public to help them make informed, water resource, investment
