Army Corps of Engineers to Hold Regional Listening Session

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division, is hosting a regional workshop on future water resources issues Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in New Brunswick, N.J.

The regional listening session is one of a series of 14 regional sessions conducted during June through September this year. According to a letter to northeastern stakeholders, “Results from the public listening sessions will be compiled into a report assessing the current state of water resources in the United States and the gap that must be closed to meet future needs. The report will be provided to decision-makers and the public to help them make informed, water resource, investment decisions.”
To maximize time, formal individual statements will not be entertained at the session. However, written statements may be submitted by mail, the web site, or at the workshop.
