2001 Storage Tank Conference: "A Tank Odyssey" to be held March 7 at Ramada Inn

The Underground Storage Tank Branch of the Division of Air and Waste Management, Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, will present another of its popular storage tank conferences on Wednesday, March 7 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The conference will be held at the Ramada Inn located at I-295 and US Route 13 in New Castle, Del.

The Conference is designed to provide information to owners of regulated underground storage tanks, contractors and consultants. Tank owners can find out how to better manage their regulated Underground Storage Tanks, how to guard against releases and how to get the best value for their investment. Consultants can gain valuable information from the presentations describing the newest technologies used to clean underground storage tank sites, and enjoy the opportunity to network with other consultants, UST owners and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and DNREC staff.

Half-hour presentations will run concurrently throughout the day. Topics include: Installation Standards, Financial Assistance Programs, Insurance for USTs, Computer Modeling and much more. This is a great opportunity for all those interested in the latest information on Underground Storage Tank regulations and technology.

Registration is $20.00 per person and includes all conference handouts, a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Pre-registration is requested before Feb.15 for catering purposes.
