Fort Delaware's Civil War Shop Will Open for Delaware City Holiday Festival

Holiday shopping for a Civil War buff? Fort Delaware State Park's Civil War Shop in Delaware City will be open for the town's Holiday Festival this weekend (Dec. 8, 9, 10) with an extensive collection of Civil War books, reproduction Civil War-era weapons, historical toys and other memorabilia.

Hours will be 3-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 and noon until 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The shop is located at the site of the former park office on Clinton Street, not on Pea Patch Island.
