Fall Tour of Assawoman Wildlife Area Wetlands Set for Sunday, December 3

The Division of Fish and Wildlife of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is offering a tour of wetland improvement projects at the Assawoman Wildlife Area Sunday, Dec. 3 beginning at 2 p.m. The tour is funded with Ducks Unlimited M.A.R.S.H. money over the past 10 years.

The informal tour will start at the Assawoman Checking Station. Water control structures, dike renovations, wetland creation, and plantings will be shown and impoundment management techniques will be discussed. Please call Rob Gano for a reservation by Nov. 27 at 302-539-3160.
