Friend's Holiday Party to be held Thursday, December 13th, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Friends Holiday Party (Please bring a dessert) The Fall meetings of the “friends” set the pace of events for the remainder of the year. There are several activities and volunteer opportunities already planned.



What do the friends do? Adopt-a-Highway clean-up crew

  • Adopt-A-Highway, Union Church Road along
    the Blackbird Creek Component
  • Horseshoe Crab Spawning surveys
  • Host guest lectures
  • Take special boat trips and environmental adventures
  • Participate in stewardship events
  • Promote the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve
  • Plan group get-togethers
  • Enjoy the environment
