The Friends of the St. Jones Reserve meet the third Thursday of every month for a business meeting held at 6:30 p.m. After selected business meetings, guest lectures and/or various activities are planned. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please call the Reserve for more information or to become a "friend."



What do the friends do? Adopt-a-Highway clean-up crew

  • Adopt-A-Highway, Union Church Road along
    the Blackbird Creek Component
  • Horseshoe Crab Spawning surveys
  • Host guest lectures
  • Take special boat trips and environmental adventures
  • Participate in stewardship events
  • Promote the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve
  • Plan group get-togethers
  • Enjoy the environment
